This is obviously a subjective question, and I'd like to hear your views. Firstly, though, what we are looking for in this project is long-lasting game-depth once the Pokémon creation is complete. So, in my view, this means that we want moves, Pokémon, etc. that offer a diversity in strategy, means to approach the game, as well as importantly, small subtleties that emerge and gain significance when the game is taken to a high level. For example, take Swampert in ADV OU (or 1U, if you're from Pokemon Perfect). It has the ability Torrent; it's not an ability people get particularly excited over (I thought it was dull when I played with it on the water starters in-game) but in high level matches it can occasionally have an impact. In the case of pert, the more typical bulky set for example appreciates the torrent boost when taking on a boosted tyranitar, but obviously it can only happen when it's at a suitably low HP. There's also a Salac Berry Endeavor set that sees use, not only abusing the boosted speed and endeavor together to pressure or weaken certain targets, but also torrent-boosted hydro pumps are great. Further, you can even use the entry hazards your opponent's laid down in order to get your health into range of your pinch berry, which can take some clever manouvreing. Obviously this is just a specific example explained rather broadly, but you can see how rarer options are sometimes worthwhile, and how small subtleties can add a little extra depth. One of the skills that Pokémon tests is adaptability to situations - the ability to think creatively in a battle situation. Little things often augment this, so I'd like to see little additions of this sort scattered throughout BAM when appropriate.
